"Quartet"

Some paintings sit for weeks and months incomplete.  They age quietly and then they become ready to work on again.  This is sometimes the only way it can happen.  This painting is one such.

I agree so much with the thought. I kind of like it when they sit for a long time and then turn out magical. Like this one!

@mergyeugnau Deborah, thank you so much. For me, paintings are never really finished, they are just left to rest. I generally prefer to work on a canvas that already is covered than a blank one. The previous work gives something to the new.
